Twinkle Jatin Khanna is a famous bollywood actress who is popularly known as Twinkle Khanna in the movie industry. She was born on 29th December, 1974 as Tina Jatin Khanna at Pune, Maharashtra. She also shares her birthday with her father. She is the eldest daughter of superstar Rajesh Khanna and actress Dimple Kapadia. She has a younger sister named Rinke Khanna who also has acted in some movies. Twinkle Khanna is married to bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in 2001 and they have a son named Aarav Bhatia. She is an interior designer by qualification and has retired from the film industry after her marriage. She is the co-owner of The White Window store and recently did the interiors for Rani Mukerji’s new house.

Twinkle Khanna made her bollywood debut in the year 1995 with the movie ‘Barsaat’ which was directed by famous director Rajkumar Santoshi. She played the role of Tina Oberoi starring opposite Bobby Deol who played as Badal in the movie. The movie became a successful one and she received the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance in the movie. Then she went on for an eye surgery for a slight crosseye condition and she starred in many movies after that. She got her good reviews and recognition from the audience. Then she acted in the movie Jaan directed by Raj Kanwar in 1996 where she starred opposite Ajay Devgan. She has acted with some of the best stars in the industry, including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Govinda.

She was noted for her roles in the movies ‘Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai’ with Salman Khan (1998), ‘Baadshah’ with Shahrukh Khan (1999) and Mela with Aamir Khan (2000). She has opened her own interior design store in Crawford Market, Mumbai and named as ‘The White Window’ in partnership with her friend Gurlein Manchanda. She has opened up another branch of the flagship store in Mumbai.
