Songs Of The Gentleman


Chiranjeevi and Juhi Chawla starred movie ‘The Gentleman’ is an action packed movie which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The movie was released on 18th November, 1994 under the banner of Geetha Arts. Other starcast included Paresh Rawal, Laxmikant Berde, Heera Rajgopal, Deepak Tijori, Harish and many more in significant roles. The movie was produced by Allu Aravind whereas the story of the movie was written by S. Shankar. Famous music director and playback singer, Anu Malik has given the music of the movie and Alisha Chinoi, K.S. Chitra, Anu Malik, Vinod Rathod, Sadhana Sargam, Suresh Wadkar and Balasubramaniam S.P. rendered their voice to the songs in the movie. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with a guy named Vijay (Chiranjeevi) who lives a middle class lifestyle. He has a little agarbathi making business through which he is able to earn some money and fulfills his needs. Also he wants to make a school where several students can get good education so that they can become doctors, engineers, lawyers etc in future. But the problem is that he has no so much of money, even not from his business. Therefore he becomes a master thief and starts stealing crores and crores of money in order to build and run the school. On the other hand, the police including the inspector (Paresh Rawal) are too behind him but everytime he manages to escape.

Shortly, he is identified as a thief which shocks his sweetheart (Juhi Chawla). Later a confrontation ensues between them and then Vijay has to tell his intentions that how his brother has committed suicide alongwith his mother only because he couldn’t pay the donations for medical school. But unfortunately, soo Vijay is apprehended by police and convicted. After a long time, when he returns he opens the school and also marries his sweetheart who also waits for him from a long time.
