Sharman Joshi and Sanjay Suri starrer romantic comedy “Sorry Bhai” was released under the banners of Puja Films, Anticlock Films and Mumbai Mantra. The movie is directed by well known bollywood director Onir. The movie was released on the 28th of November, 2008. Other starcast of the movie includes Chitrangda Singh, Boman Irani and Shabana Azmi all of these are seen in prominent roles in the movie. The music of the movie is composed and directed by talented music directors Gaurav Dayal and Vivek Philip. The melodious songs of the movie are sung in the beautiful voice of Abhishek Nailwal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Chayan Adhikari, K K and Nanette Natal.

The director Onir is always seen experimenting with different and unusual plots in his movies like My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal. Well Sorry Bhai is no different, the movie comes with a new and unusual plot. The story of the movie is completely dependent on the plot and there is nothing more in the script. The movie starts very well but as the story progresses the pace of the movie becomes very slow. As the crux of the movie is revealed in between hence it becomes a bit boring towards the end. The movie is centered on a family and its two sons. The elder son Harsh ( Sanjay Suri ) works in Mauritius where he falls in love with a beautiful girl Aliyah (Chitrangda Singh). He informed her mother about there relationship but her mother ( Shabana Aazmi ) doesn’t approved the relation.

Younger brother Siddarth ( Sharman Joshi ) took the carge to convince her mother for their marriage and brought the whole family to Mauritius. But Harsh was completely busy with his work and didn’t get enough time to spend with his family. Aliyah took the responsibility of making the family stay well in new place and feel like home. Siddarth was slowly getting attracted towards Aliyah. As Harh was not giving her enough time, Aliyah also started feeling for Siddarth. She started to feel committed towards Siddarth. Mother Shabana aldredy had a suspicion about the two and she started spying on them. All the actors have performed wonderfully in their respective roles. But the director seemed confused in the plot that much that he is not able to give his 100 percent to the movie. Overall the movie is a watchable affair but subject may not appeal everyone.
