Karishma Kapoor and Chandrachur Singh starrer bollywood movie “Silsila Hai Pyar Ka” was released under the production of N N Sippy on April 16, 1999. The movie is directed by Sharbani Deodhar. Other cast of the movie includes Danny Denzongpa, Aruna Irani, Shakti Kapoor, Alok Nath, Tiku Talsania, Johny Lever, Mishkaa Khanna and Neelam Singh. The story of the movie talks about the clash of moral values and the Indian system with the western culture and lifestyle. The story of the movie revolves around the life of Vanshika Mathur ( Karishma Kapoor ), she lost her parents in her childhood and now she lives with her aunt ( Aroona Irani ), being the only young person in the middle class family she has to shoulder the burden of whole family. She got a job with the company of Mr. Sinha (Alok Nath). It is here when the movie takes a turn, she met Abhay ( Chandrachur Singh ), an arrogant spoiled brat who is the son of Mr. Sinha.

He lost his mother in his childhood and now he lived far away from his father’s place with his uncle Rakesh ( Shakti Kapoor ) who is a very unpredictable man and loves to live a lavish lifestyle, he treats women just as a toy of pleasure and nothing else. The same values were inculcated in Abhay also. Vanshika fell in love with him at the very first sight and slowly Abhay also realized that he also likes her. As they expressed their feelings to each other, there starts the clash of moral values and the egos of the two. The movie takes another bollywoodish turn when som evil elements like Jabbar Khashogi ( Danny Denzongpa ) popped on to the scene. What happens next?
