Shreyas Talpade is a famous bollywood actor who was born on 27th January, 1976 at Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is son of Bhupesh Talpade. He has attended Shree Ram Welfare Society’s High School for his studies. He is happily married to Deepti Talpade who was the general secretary of her college. He met his wife Deepti when he went to her college as a celebrity. She is a clinical psychologist who is a counselor for a school and a corporate concern. Shreyas Talpade has started acting in a Marathi soap and after that he acted in many Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra. He has acted in a very popular Marathi serial called ‘Damini’ and was very much appreciated by the Marathi audience.

Shreyas Talpade has started his bollywood career in the year 2005 with the movie ‘Iqbal’ which was directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. He played the role of Iqbal who is dumb and deaf but is very passionate about cricket and wants to become a fast bowler. He acted alongwith Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Prasad and Yatin Karyekar in the movie. The movie was a superhit which stands him to do his next movie titled ‘Dor’ in 2006. The movie was again directed by Nagesh Kukunoor where he played the role of a behroopiya, a man with many disguises. This movie was also well received by the critics. He starred with actress Gul Kirat Panag in that movie.

In the same year, 2006 he starred in the comedy movie ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ with Ritesh Deshmukh, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Riya Sen and Jackie Shroff. But his turning point in the industry was the blockbuster movie ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007 diredted by Farah Khan. He played the role of Pappu Master who is the best friend of Shahrukh Khan in the movie. Then he was seen in the comedy movie ‘Bombay To Bangkok’ which was again directed by Nagesh Kukunoor in 2008. The movie was a cross-cultural comedy. He was also nominated in Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for Iqbal and Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for Om Shanti Om. He last appeared in the comedy movie ‘Golmaal Returns’ in 2008.
