Songs of Sazaa

Dev Anand, Nimmi and Shyama starred superhit and classical movie ‘Sazaa’ is a family drama movie which was directed by Fali Mistry. The movie was released in 1951 under the banner of G.P. Productions. Other starcast included K.N. Singh, Durga Khote, Mukri, Gope, Lalita Pawar and many more who played important roles in the movie. The movie was produced by G.P. Sippy whereas the music of the movie was given by famous and legendary music director and composer, Sachin Dev Burman. List of playback singers included Lata Mangeshkar, Sandhya Mukerjee, Talat Mehmood and Hemanta Mukherjee who sang the songs in their soulful voice. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Kamini (Shyama) who lives a wealthy lifestyle in her palatial house. One day she is driving her car in full speed and suddenly runs over a young man named Ashok (Dev Anand). He get seriously injured and Kamini gets frightened with his condition. She quickly takes him to the nearest hospital where Ashok has been quickly admitted by the staff and then starts his surgery and other treatment process. Later Ashok becomes out of danger but is still unconsious due to weakness. It takes several days to regain his health for Ashok. Also Kamini everyday visits Ashok to know the condition of him. Soon he becomes fit and ready to go form there. Kamini then attracted to him and wants to more know about himself.

Later she puts a proposal of employment for Ashok in front of her father named Seth Mothumal (Gope). Her father agrees to give him employment as a manager. After being discharged from the hospital, he takes up the employment offer and is hired by Mothumal. Later she invites Ashok to her house for a dinner which he accepts. When Ashok reaches there, he comes across a maid servant named Asha (Nimmi). Both of them feel attracted towards each other.
