The movie Sangam was one of the biggest hits of its time, the story of the movie revolves around a romantic plot that is filled with wonderful music. The story of the movie revolves around the lives of three friends Sundar Khanna ( Raj Kapoor), Radha ( Vyajayanimala ) and Gopal Verma ( Rajendra Kumar ), they are friends since childhood. Now all the three are grown up and Sundar is in love with Radha and wants to marry her but he haven’t expressed his love to her. On the other Radha loves Gopal, also Gopal also likes her and the love is blossoming between the two.

In the meanwhile Sundar tries to get close to her but she always repents him. When Sundar told this to Gopal, he decided to make way for his friend and moves out of Radha’s life. Soon Sundar was appointed in the Indian Airorce as a pilot. He was called on for the duty of his country during the war period. But tragic news shocked everyone that his plane was shot down by the enemy. Now slowly Radha and Gopal came close to each other and love blossomed between the two. They decided to marry each other but but before they could marry each other, Sundar came from nowhere. Now Sundar and RAdha are married together. But there was another twist written in the story, one day accidently Sundar found a love letter that Radha had written to Gopal. What happens next?
