Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Jackie Shroff starrer Rangeela is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The other starcst of the film includes Gulshan Grover and Reema Laagoo in significant roles. Mili ( Urmila Matondkar ) belongs to a middle class family and always dreams of becoming a famous actress. Her close friend, Munna ( Aamir Khan ), who is a small time black marketeer, loves her from the deep of his heart but doesn’t have the courage to tell her about this. Mili come in touch of a famous star Raj kamal ( Jackie Shroff ), who halps her in becoming an actress. Raj Kamal suggests her name to Steven Kapoor ( Gulshan Grover ), a top director of industry.

Mili and Raj comes close to each other and falls in love with each other. When Munna comes to know about their relationship, he decides to forget Mili. Meanwhile, Raj proposes Mili for marraige to which Mili simply says yes. Munna plans to go away from mili’s life as he can’t see her getiing married to someone else. Will Mili ever learn the reason for Munna’s exit from her life? Will she be able to stop Munna from going away from her life.
