Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Sunny Deol starrer bollywood romantic drama movie “Ram Avtar” was released under the production of Anil Hingorani and Arjun Hingorani on May 26, 1988 while the movie is directed by Sunil Hingorani. The movie Ram Avtar comes up with a refreshing romantic love triangle that revolves around the life of two best friends. The story of the movie focuses on the life of Avtar ( Anil Kapoor ), who found himself employed in a company owned by Sangeeta ( Sridevi ), she was very arrogant and strong women. During his work hours Avtar came in contact with Sangeeta more than often and it was the matter of time when he lost his heart for her. Time passed but he didn’t manage to propose her as she was his boss. In the mean time Ram ( Sunny Deol ) Avtar’s best friend gave him a visit.

When Ram came across sangeeta he also lost his heart for her but in this case the feelings were from both the sides and love blossomed between the two. But when Ram came to know about Avtar’s feelings for his boss Sangeeta, he moved out of her life and let Avtar come close to her. Soon they tied the knott together and started a new life, everything in theire life was going on smoothly until one day when Gundappa Swami ( Shakti Kapoor ) just before dying told Avtar that his wife doesn’t have true feelings for him. Now he started investigating and soon unearthed what sacrifice his friend Ram made for him.
