Songs of Qila
Mukul Dev, Rekha and Mamta Kulkarni starred movie ‘Qila’ is a family drama movie which was directed by Umesh Mehra. The movie was released on 10th April, 1998 under the banner of Eagle Films. Other starcast included Malay Chakrabarty, Avtar Gill, Gulshan Grover, Smita Jaykar, Satish Kaushik, Shahbaaz Khan, Dilip Kumar, Kunika, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Pramod Muthu in important roles. The movie was produced by Parvesh C. Mehra whereas music of the movie was given by famous music director Anand Raj Anand. List of playback singers included Udit Narayan, Amit Kumar, Preeti Uttam, Sadhana Sargam, Nayan Rathod and Mohammad Aziz. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Jagannath Singh (Dilip Kumar) who is a wealthy man and lives a wealthy lifestyle. One day he is murdered in his own house by some unknown killer. Later police arrives there and the case is assigned to Police Inspector Khan (Avtar Gill). Soon he comes to know that Jagannath Singh is killed twice one bullet killing him and other embedded in the wall. So Khan comes up with his case before Judge Amarnath Singh (Dilip Kumar) who is none other than the twin brother of Jagannath. Later Khan asks all the members of Jagannath’s family to gather at his palatial home. Then there begins finding of his killing.
The suspects include Yamini (Rekha) a woman who claimed to have been molested and raped by Jagannath, her brother named Kundan (Malay Chakrabarty), Suman (Smita Jaykar) who is Jagannath’s abused wife and her son named Amar (Mukul Dev). Later Khan come to know that Jagannath had thrown his wife and son out of the house a long time ago which forced them to live in a slum. There Amar starts his career with becoming a truck driver and falls in love with Neeta (Mamta Kulkarni) who is his boss’s only daughter. Khan starts his interrogation very hardly and Amar cannot bear the pressure and confesses his crime.
