Jeetendra, Dimple Kapadia and Jaya Prada starrer bollywood movie “Pataal Bhairavi” was reeased under the banner of Padmalaya Telefilms Ltd. on the yeaqr of 1985. The movie is produced by G Hanumantha Rao while the director was K Bapaiah. The genre of the movie falls into the category of fantasy drama. The movie Pataal Bhairavi comes up with a story that revolves around fantasy and magical powers. The story of the movie focuses on the life of an ordinary man called Ramchandra aka Ramu ( Jeetendra ), who lived in the kingdom of Raja Vijay Singh ( Pran ). Ramu was very talented and strong and he lived with his mother who is his only family member. One day during the annual games competition he performed brilliantly and outperformed the others. This act of his made him popular in the eyes of princess Indumati ( Jaya Prada ), who lost her heart for Ramu.

Ramu also liked her and wanted to marry her but this relation was not approved by the king as he wanted her to marry someone from a family parallel to their stature. Ramu gave Raja Vijay Singh a word that he would not marry Indumati until he becomes rich and come parallel to their family. He took the help of a magician called Mantrik ( Kader Khan ), who directed him to help a goddess who was under a bad curse. Mantrik wanted to take away the wealth that the goddess gives the person helping her, but when Ramu learnt about this he took all that with him and presented it before the king. Now his marriage was arranged with Indumati but the bride was missing on the wedding day.
