Songs of Papa the Great

Papa the Great is romantic hindi film which was released in the year 2000. The movie is directed by K. Bhagyaraja. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Gulshan Kumar and Vijay Kumar Raichura in collaboration. The story of the film is written by K. Bhagyaraja himself and Nawab Arzoo has written the dialogues of the film. Krishna Kumar and Nagma are in the lead roles in the film. The rest of the starcast is comprises of bollywood actors named Satya Prakash, Satish Kaushik, Anil Dhawan, Ghanshyam Rohera, Laxmikant Berde, Mahavir Shah, Razzak Khan, Shama Deshpande, Shashi Kiran and Shatrughan Sinha. The original music of the film is composed by three music directors named Surendra Singh Sodhi, Nikhil and Vinay. Bollywood singers Aditya Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod, Anuradha Paudwal and Poornima have lend their voices for the songs of the movie. Shatrughan Sinha has portrayed the significant role of a gangster in the film. Krishna Kumar and Nagma have played a couple in the film with a son. Bul the actual show stealer in the film is none other than child artist, Master Bobby. Satish Kaushik has managed to make audience laugh with his childish or comic acts. Renowned artist, Shashi Kiran, has also done a brief special appearance in the film in the role of a thief.

Sonu (Master Bobby) is the only son of his parents. His father Jai Prakash (Krishna Kumar) works in a multinational company on a reputed post. Sonu’s mother named Pooja (Nagma) is a housewife. The whole family is a living a happy and wealthy lifestyle. Jai is a soft hearted guy who never really gets into fight with anyone. But Sonu believes that his father is a brave and macho guy. He always tells his friends and others that his father is a brave person. One day while returning to his home, Sonu witnesses a local gangster named Villain Kaka (Satya Prakash) threatning people. Sonu threatens Villain Kaka in the name of his father. As a result of this, Jai falls in the bad books of Villain Kaka, who is now looking out for Jai.

Villain Kaka orders all his associates to find out about Jai and bring him in front of him. Jai learns about this and decies to relocate to some city. He runs away alongwith Pooja and Sonu and relocates in Delhi. They start a fresh life in the city. Jai gets a job in another company and also takes a flat on rent. But another problem comes in their life in the form of a gangster named Biharilal (Shatrughan Sinha). Biharilal is on a run from police and forcefully enters in Jai’s house. Biharilal then refuse to go away from there as he considers their home as the safest place to hide from police. How Jai and his family deals with this new porblem forms the rest of the story of the film.
