Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Rishis Kapoor starrer bollywood drama “Luck By Chance” was released on January 30, 2009 under the banners of Big Pictures and Excel Entertainment. The movie is directed by Zoyas Akhtar while produced by Farhan Akhtar. Other cast of the movie includes Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Kapoor, Isha Sharwani, Konkona Sen Sharma, Saurabh Shukla and Aly Khan. The story of the movie revolves around the bollywood industry and how many youngsters come to the city of dreams to make it big in the bollywood industry. The movie revolves around the life of a young and dynamic girl Sona ( Konkona Sen Sharma ), she had big dreams, she wanted to make it big in the bollywood industry and become a top actress one day. She came to the city of Mumbai to realize her dreams. She started living alone in a rented apartment and started looking for a break in a film. She is so determined to make a career in bollywood that she can go to any extent in her life.

Soon she started making into the sets of films and got some acting assignments also. One day she came across another wannabe actor Vikram ( Farhan Akhtar ), he comes up from a good family background based in delhi. He had all the luxuries in there but his dreams of becoming an actor brought him to Mumbai. His charming and clever personality soon engulfed Sona and she fell for him. Soon both were in love with each other. The movie also presents few other characters like Rolly ( Rishi Kapoor ) who is a top producer in the industry but he is only involved with top stars like Zaffar Khan ( Hrithik Roshan ) who is always the hero of his films.
