Love Story 2050 came with a hype surrounded to it, the movie was tauted as the biggest hit of the year. With a lead hero a look a like of Hrithik Roshan, Harman Baweja came on to the scene beautifully. The movie is a science fiction with the same boring subject used in every third si-fi movie: Time Travel. The movie starts with Karan ( Harman Baweja ) an adventurous sport loving guy based in Adelaide, Australia. One day Karan bumped into a beautiful shy girl Sana ( Priyanka Chopra ), and they fall in love with each other. A terrible accident takes away Sana from the life of Karan.

Karan’s uncle Yatinder Khanna ( Boman Irani ), has developed a machine that would enable to travel in time. To get Sana back he and his uncle set out to travel to the year of 2050. when they reached Mumbai 2050, it was completely cars flying around, robots working for humans and a completely different world. He finds a superstar pop sensation a lady who looks like Sana. The rest of the story deals with how Karan gets Sana back in his life, fighting one of the most feared villain Dr. Hoshi. The initial half of the movie is very gripping but the last hour of the movie some what diminishes in its character in front of wonderful graphics and animation of the virtual reality. Director Harry Baweja has lost the plot in the second half. Overall the movie is a good entertainer for a single time viewing only.
