Songs of Kohra

Arman Kohli and Ayesha Jhulka starred movie ‘Kohra’ is a mystery and thriller movie which was directed by Partho Ghosh. The movie was released in 1993 under the banner of Heera International. Other starcast included Pran, Kiran Kumar, Gulshan Grover, Tinnu Anand, Kunika, Deepak Saraf, Pradeep Singh Rawat, Rana Jung Bahadur, Sadashiv Amrapurkar etc in supporting roles. The movie was produced by Pushpa S. Choudhary whereas music of the movie was given by Charanjit Ahuja. List of playback singers included Amit Kumar, Sadhana Sargam, Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy who sang the songs in melodiuos voice. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Anand Sharma (Arman Kohli) who is an orphan and lives with his paternal uncle named Suryakant Sharma (Kiran Kumar) who is Inspector General of Police. He studies in the college where he meets with attractive Nisha K. Rathod (Ayesha Jhulka) and soon both of them fall in love with each other and want to marry each other. Nisha is the daughter of Kailashnath Rathod (Pran) who is widow and a Custom Officer. She lives with her father. Later both of them inform their guardians and also arrange a meeting for their marriage proposal. When the two meet, they agreed for the marriage proposal. Then Anand is employed by the Police and undergoes training.

He wants to surprise Nisha but when he meets her he is shocked to see Nisha in the arms of another man named Dr. Deepak Kaushal (Deepak Saraf). When he asks her she tell him to have to do anything with him and tells him to go out of her life. Then Suryakant assigned him some underworlds criminals cases to test him in which Peter Gonzales, Mr. John and Tinnu are included. But he once again stunns when he comes to know that Nisha’s refusal is related with these criminal masterminds. Later he finally reveals the masks from the culprits and everyone become shock to see Kailashnath Rathod as Mr. John.
