Songs of Khubsoorat
Rakesh Roshan, Rekha and Ashok Kumar starred movie ‘Khubsoorat’ is a comedy and family drama movie which was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The movie was released in 1980 under the banner of Rupam Pictures. Other starcast included Shashikala, Aradhana, Dina Pathak, David Abraham, S.N. Banerjee, Keshto Mukherjee, Ranjit Chowdhry, Om Shivpuri, Rita Rani Kaul, Vijay Sharma etc in important roles. The movie was produced by N.C. Sippy and Hrishikesh Mukherjee whereas the story and screenplay of the movie were written by D.N. Mukherjee. Music was given by famous Rahul Dev Burman and the songs were sang by Asha Bhosle, Sapan Chakraborty, Kalyani, Usha Mangeshkar etc. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Dwarka Prasad Gupta (Ashok Kumar) who lives a middle class lifestyle in his palatial house alongwith his wife named Nirmala Gupta (Dina Pathak) and three sons. Inder Gupta (Rakesh Roshan) is his third son. Nirmala runs household in a very strict manner and all the members in the family do obey her to be good in her eyes. Their eldest son is living a married lifestyle and now it is the turn of their second son whose marriage has been arranged with a young and attractive woman named Anju (Aradhana). Soon both get married and from there, the things start to change in the house. Soon after the marriage, Manju (Rekha) who is the sister of Anju, comes to stay there for some days.
There Manju notices how Nirmala treats people and she does not like this anyway. She feels some permanent changes are needed in the Gupta household. She slowly starts to bring those changes in the household and convinces the family members that it is ok to braek rules sometimes. However, Nirmala considers her antics as childish and irresponsible. One day Dwarka Prasad gets a heart attack when he was confronting with his wife about her unfriendly and harsh behaviour towards Manju. Then Manju helps in receiving medical treatment to Dwarka Prasad and takes care of him. Later she is married to Inder and also accepted by Nirmala.
