Songs of Khauff

Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala and Sharad S. Kapoor starred movie ‘Khauff’ is an action and thriller drama movie which was directed by Sanjay Gupta. The movie was released on 3rd March, 2000 under the banner of Chirag Arts. Other starcast included Simran, Mukesh Khanna, Suresh Oberoi, Tinnu Anand, Jaspal Bhatti, Farida Jalal, Parmeet Sethi, Navin Nischol, Beena Banerjee, Satyendra Kapoor etc in important supporting roles. The movie was produced by Vijay Tolani whereas the story and screenplay of the movie were written by Sanjay Gupta. Dialogues were written by Anand Vardhan and the music was given by famous Adesh Srivastav, Anu Malik and Sajid Ali. Sapna Awasthi, Asha Bhosle, Sukhwinder Singh, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu etc sang the songs. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Neha Verma (Manisha Koirala) who lives a wealthy lifestyle. She is an air hostess by profession. Her job does not allows her to sit at one place and therefore she travels a lot during the week. One day she gets invitation from her best friend named Ritu Pereira (Simran) of her wedding and she goes there to attend the function. While returning from the wedding ceremony, she witnesses the brutal death of Jaidev Singh (Mukesh Khanna) who is none other than Superintendent of Police. He is brutally killed by several persons. Seeing this she gets upset and unfortunately drops her identification card on the same place of murder.

Later police gets involved in the investigation and soon her identity card is located by the police and she is brought in for questioning. She helps police in identifying the killers who turns out to be Samrat Singhania (Parmeet Sethi) who is the son of a prominent Minister in the state’s ruling party. Then she goes Mauritius where she meets with a young man named Vicky and both fall in love with each other. She have a quiet wedding ceremony there and then she comes to know that Vicky is not really who is says he is. He is a killer who has been hired to prevent her from testifying against the Singhanias.
