Katrina Kaif made her movie debut in the year 2003 with the movie Boom which was directed by Kaizad Gustad. He gave her a part in his film Boom. She played the role of Rina Kaif/Popdi Chinchpokli who is a model. The movie also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Zeenat Aman and Javed Jaffery. The movie was not so successful. Then she moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments.
