Mithun Chakraborty, Moushumi Chatterjee and Prem Chopra starred movie ‘Jallad’ is an action and comedy drama packed movie which was directed by T L V Prasad. The movie was released on 15th September, 1995 and other starcast included Vikas Anand, Sulabha Arya, Avtar Gill, Puneet Issar, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Madhoo, Asha Sharma, Rambha, Tiku Talsania, Sonu Walia etc in equally important roles. The movie was produced by Rajiv Babbar whereas he music of the movie was given by famous duo Anand-Milind. The lyrics of the songs were written by famous lyricist, Sameer whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Vinod Rathod, Sapna Mukherjee, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Sadhna Sargam etc. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with a guy (Mithun Chakraborty) who lives alongwith Mr. and Mrs. Prasad (Vikas Anand and Asha Sharma respectively). He is a young, handsome and honest guy who works as a Police Inspector and is famous for his honesty in the whole department. Later one day he goes to a small town in Southern India to be introduced to a prospective bride named Koyal (Rambha) who is very attractive and beautiful. She is the daughter of Gopinath (Avtar Gill). Later Police Inspector falls in love with her and also wants to marry her. Soon Koyal also falls in love with him. Eventually, his marriage with her is abou to finalize when a man comes forward and shocks everone.

He also alleging that the Police Inspector is not who he claims to be, but a man who is a bastard, born out of an unknown biological father. Now the marriage is postponed and the Inspector questioning Prasad and his wife as to who he really is and who his father was. Then Prasad starts telling him about his mother named Gayetri’s (Madhoo) life. She married with an obnoxious man named Amavas (also Mithun Chakraborty). He was selected by a politician named K.K (Kader Khan) to lure the public to vote for him. But later he changes his turn and also becomes the MP of the state.
