Mithun Chakraborty, Moushumi Chatterjee and Prem Chopra starred movie ‘Jallaad’ is an action, comedy and family drama movie which was directed by T L V Prasad. The movie was released on 15th September, 1995. Other starcast included Vikas Anand, Sulabha Arya, Avtar Gill, Gavin Packard, Shakti Kapoor, Puneet Issar, Madhoo, Rambha, Asha Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Sonu Walia etc in important roles. The movie was produced by Rajiv Babbar whereas the music of the movie was given by famous duo Anand-Milind. Lyrics of the songs were given by Sameer and the songs were rendered by Vinod Rathod, Sapna Mukherjee, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Sadhna Sargam etc. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with a Police Inspector (Mithun Chakraborty) who lives a simple lifestyle alongwith Mr. and Mrs. Prasad (Asha Sharma). He is a young, dashing and honest police inspector who one day goes to a small town in Southern India. There he is introduced with a young woman named Koyal (Rambha) who is a prospective bride. Koyal is the daughter of Gopinath (Avtar Gill) and soon both of them fall in love with each other. Also he wants to marry her and soon their marriage finalization time also comes. But to his shock, during the event, a man comes forward alleging that the Police Inspector is not who he claims to be rather he is a bastard.

As a result, his marriage is postponed and then he moves to both the couple and there he asks them about himself and also about his father. Then Prasad starts to tell him the real story of his life, about his father named Amavas (also Mithun Chakraborty). He was a poor fellow who is hired by a politician named K.K. (Kader Khan) to lure the innocent public to vote for him. He had also fallen in love with a young woman named Gayetri (Madhoo). Later some sequences took place and Amavas betrayed her. Also he betrayed K.K. and took his position of MLA.
