Vinod Khanna and Dimple Kapadia starrer bollywood action movie “Insaaf” was released under the productionof Nitin Manmohan on June 19, 1987 while the movie is directed by Mukul Ananad. Other cast of the movie includes Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Dalip Tahil, Madan Joshi, Shammi, Vikram Gokhale, Leena Das, Ghanshyam, Mahesh Anand, Mahesh and Gandhi. The melodious music of the movie is composed and directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs are sung by Mohammad Aziz, Alisha Chinoy and Anuradha Paudwal.

The movie come Insaaf comes up with an action story that revolves around the struggle of a common man against the law to get justice. The movie focuses on the life of Avinash Kapoor ( Vinod Khanna ) who completed his study of law from the Law College. Soon after his studies he joined a local college as a lecturer and started teaching there. But his teaching and strictness was not appreciated by the students and they started teasing him. One day they managed to kidnap his blind sister and sexually assaulted her.

This made Avinash angry and he bashed up the students responsible for this, but after this he was arrested by the police and was presented before the court. Before he could defend himself in the court, he was sent to the jail for seven days remand. When he came out of the jail, he was shocked to know that he was fired from his post in the college. He managed to get another job in a law firm but, the daemons of his past haunted him again and there also he was thrown out. Now Avinash decided to move to Bombay with his family and started illegal business of drug smuggling. What happens next??
