Songs of Ikke Pe Ikka

Akshay Kumar and Shanti Priya starred movie ‘Ikke Pe Ikka’ is a comedy and action packed movie which was directed by Raj N. Sippy. The movie was released on 11th October, 1994 under the banner of Mudra Arts. Other starcast included Prithvi, Chandni, Pankaj Dheer, Manjeet Kullar, Moushumi Chatterjee, Anupam Kher, Beena Banerjee, Harish Patel, Bhushan Jeevan, Tiku Talsania etc in supporting roles. The movie was produced by Satluj Dheer whereas story and screenplay of the movie were written by Pankaj Dheer and Sachin Bhowmick respectively. Dialogues of the movie were wriiten by Ajay Kartik and Anand Vardhan. Music was given by Kishor and Mahesh and Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Vinod Rathod, Kumar Sanu etc sang the songs. Movie starts with Kailashnath (Anupam Kher) who is a wealthy businessman and lives a wealthy lifestyle in his palatial house alongwith three grown sons named Randhir (Pankaj Dheer), Rajiv (Akshay Kumar), Rishi (Prithvi) and a younger school-going son. Kailashnath manages his business himself and wants from his sons to take an interest in it. He also asks his sons regarding this but all goes in vain as all three of them have their own interest. One is wanting to be a Bollywood actor, another is interested in singing and the last one is interested in boxing. No one is interested in their father’s business or seeking job anywhere. One day a new neighbour comes to their neighbouhood by the name of Kaushalya Devi (Moushumi Chatterjee).

Kaushalya has three daughters named Komal (Shanti Priya), Kavita (Chandni) and Kanchan (Manjeet Kullar). Also a maid servant named Guddi (Guddi Maruti) lives with them. All three ladies have the same interests as the three sons of Kailashnath. So six of them get match-up and soon fall in love with each other. When Kailashnath comes to know about this, he refuses to grant the permission of marriage to them untill they establish themselves and are able to stand on their respective feet. As Kailashnath and Kaushalya both are widowed therefore he proposes her to marry which changes all the relations between their children as brothers and sisters.
