Arjun Rampal and Vipasha Agarwal starrer bollywood movie “I See You” was released on December 29, 2006 under the banners of Chasing Ganesha Films and K Sera Sera. The movie is directed by Vivek Agarwal. Other cast of the movie includes Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Sonali Kulkarni, Kirron Kher, Sophie Choudry, Michael Maloney and Ashwin Mushran who played significant roles in the movie. The movie I See You is the debut movie of model turned actor Arjun Rampal’s as a producer of the movie. The movie deals with the ghost and the spirit of a dead person. The story of the movie seems to be taken from an English movie Just Like Heaven, the story adaptation of the movie specially for the Indian crowed is not convincing enough. The movie lacks conviction in its screenplay and the storyline. The story of the movie is centered around a popular TV star Raj ( Arjun Rampal ). One day he saw a beautiful lady Shivani ( Vipasha ) in his house, it was totally unexpected. Initially thinking it as a prank being played by his friends, he realizes that she was not a real girl but a ghostly spirit.

The spirit Shivani is visible to Raj only and only he can talk to her. He didn’t find any reason why she is visible only to him. When he told about this incident to his friend Akshay ( Chunky Pandey ), he made fun of him thinking him as being psychologically disturbed. As the lady spirit wasn’t causing any harm to Raj, slowly he felt in love with her. Both started to look out for the reason why shivani is in the form of a spirit, what is the reason for her being dead. After investigation he found out that a doctor was involved for killing her. With lot of unprecedented scenes unfolding the story becomes interesting during this part. The movie is not a big crowd puller because of its not so good script, and even worse screenplay. The story is interesting only in bits and pieces. Overall both the director and producer have failed in their attempt to woo the Indian crowd with a different concept.
