Songs of Dhol


Sharman Joshi and Tusshar Kapoor starrer comedy flick “DHOL” was released under the banner Percept Picture Company. The movie was directed by ace film director Priyadarshan. Other cast of the movie include Kunal Khemu, Tanushree Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Om Puri, Arbaaz Khan and Payal Rohatgi. The movie was released on 21st September 2007. Renowned music director Pritam Chakraborty has given melodious music to the songs. The list of singers include pop sensation Mika Singh, Kunal Ganjawala, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal and others.

Over a period of time Priyadarshan has been giving one after other comic movies, well Dhol also falls into the same category. There is no shortage of comic scenes in it. The movie is full of laughter, you will surely would like to beat the “Dhol” after watching the movie. The movie revolves around four friends Pakkya ( Sharman Joshi ), Sam ( Tushar Kapoor ), Goti ( Kunal Khemu ) and Maru ( Rajpal Yadav ). All Four guys are useless fellows, they have no direction in life. They are bonded by their mischievous behavior and carelessness. All of them wanted to succeed in life and make it big but without putting any effort. So they figure out a best way to get rich immediately without working hard, and that was to get married to a rich girl.

Suddenly one day to their astonishment there came a beautiful rich girl Ritu ( Tanushree Dutta ) in their neighborhood. All four started out with their dreams to convince her to marry. But as the story progresses they come to know a shocking truth which could change their lives. All the four characters complemented each other and performed very well but Rajpal Yadav was exceptionally well, with his dumbness turned every funny moment into an outbreak of laughter. As always Sharman Joshi was also gud with his perfect timing of jokes. There was no scope for ladies to show their skills as boys always captured the screen. Dhol is a must watch specially for the youth.
