Director Pooja Bhatt has up with another film based on the very sensitive social problem, Dhokha. The movie talks about terrorism and Jihad, what sets Dhokha apart is that it doesn’t communalize the topic but rather explains the cause of this inhumane act. After Paap and Holiday this is another wonderful creation from the Bhatt camp. The story of the movie revolves around the central topic of terrorism but also talks about the emotions and pain that people have to go through. A Muslim police inspector Zaid ( Muzammil Ibrahim ) works for Mumbai police. One night there was a big bomb explosion took place in the New Century Club, he worked through the night to help those who are injured in the blast.

While helping others recover from the shock he encounters a great disbelief. Among the dead bodies, there was one lying there which was very special to him. The body of his beautiful wife Sara ( Tulip Joshi ), he was shattered to see her lying dead. Then came a terrible turn in the movie, from the initial speculations injuries found on Sara’s dead body resembles those to the suicide bombers. After detailed investigation revealed that Sara was responsible for this devastating blast, Zaid’s life was in a turmoil he was trapped in the beautiful memories of the past and the horrifying truth. The movie has a great storyline and equally well narrated by Pooja Bhatt. Overall this is one of the best creations which came from the bhatt camp.
