Songs of Choron Ka Chor

Choron Ka Chor is a 1970 released bollywood romantic action drama flick. The movie is directed as well as produced by Mohammed Hussain. The movie stars Dara Singh and Shabnam in lead roles. The other starcast of the film includes various renowned actors of bollywood industry such as Madan Puri, Roopesh Kumar, Meena, Neelam, Agha, Bhagwan, Shetty, Jayshree, Randhir, Neelam, Indira Bansal, Master Ripple, Anjum and Vishwas Kunte. The music of the film is given by none other than famous music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. Former bollywood playback singer, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc have lend their voices for the songs in the film. Dara Singh has done complete justice to his role. Actually, he has given a superb performance in the lead role of a thief. Madan Puri is once again in the role of lead antagonist in the film. Shabnam is the lead actress of the film, who has nothing much to do in the film as such.

Ashok (Dara Singh) is a handsome guy who lives a simple lifestyle in the daytime. But at nights, he roams in the city as a masked bandit. He performs robberies in the house of wealthy and corrupt person. He is famous with the title of ‘Choron Ka Chor’. He is considered as the modern day robinhood by poor peoples. He performs robberies in the house of wealthy persons and distributes the looted money in between the poor people. He is praised as good by the poor people. But no one has any clue about the real name or identity of this masked bandit. Police is also behind this bandit but never gets succeed in traping him.

Ashok’s gang includes only two person named Makhan (Agha) and Lakhan (Master Bhagwan). Makhan and Lakhan assists him in every robbery he performs. In the whole world, Ashok only trust these two guys. Ashok gets the news that a smuggler named Madanlal (Madan Puri) is planning to smuggle gold after one week. Ashok makes an intelligent plan to rob Madanlal. Meanwhile, Ashok comes across a destitute family and decides to help this family. He offers help to the family as Masked Bandit but the family refuse to accept the ‘looted’ money. Dara Singh has given an excellent performance in the role of masked bandit. The stunt secnes of the film are also picturised in an excellent manner.
