Shatrughan Sinha, Chandrachur Singh and Jayapradha starred movie ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ is an action movie which was directed by Osho Rojo. The movie was released in 2002 and other starcast included Tom Alter, Rakesh Bedi, Laxmikant Berde, Rinku Ghosh, Razak Khan, Farha Naaz, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Asha Saini, Puru Rajkumar, Achyut Potdar etc in important roles. The movie was produced by T.P. Agarwal and Rahul Aggarwal whereas the music of the movie was given by Hirju Roy.

Movie starts with Sultan (Pramod Muthu) who is the Chief of Mujahd-E-Kashmir Front and lives a wealthy lifestyle. One day he hires a dreaded terrorist named Mohammed Jalaudin Ghaznavi (Tom Alter) to abduct tourists in Mahabaleshwar and hold them for ransom. But their plan gets fail as Major Abdul Hamid of the National Security Guard (Puru Rajkumar) takes action at the right time who not only saves the hostages but also apprehends Ghaznavi. While being held in a cell Ghaznavi tries to negotiate his release with Home Minister Mahendra Suryavanshi (Shatrughan Sinha) but all in vain.

Later Ghaznavi’s important persons named Shabbir Jehangir Khan (Chandrachur Singh) and Aslam Marzban (Shadaab Khan) abducts Suryavanshi’s wife named Rukmani (Jayapradha) who is a principal by profession of of St. Mark’s Sr. Secondary School. Their son named Chaitanya (Vikramaditya) his girlfriend named Sapna (Rinku Ghosh) and a bus-load of students. Now they demands the release of Ghaznavi and others as well as free Kashmir from India. Once again Abdul is selected to deal with Shabbir but ends up becoming their captive.
