Songs of Anjaam

Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer suspence thriller movie Anjaam was directed by Rahul Rawail. The other starcast includes Johnny Lever, Beena Banerjee, Deepak Tijori, Tinu Anand and Kiran Kumar in supporting and important roles. The story and screenplay was done by Sutanu Gupta. The movie was released on April 22, 1994. The music of this movie was given by famous duo Anand Milind. The list of the singers include some famous names- Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Sapna Awasthi, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam and Poornima. This movie made a good profit at the box office.

Vijay Agnihotri ( Shahrukh Khan ) is a very rich and spoilt person who lives in Mumbai with his mother. His mother Mrs.Padma Agnihotri ( Beena Banerjee ) has allowed him everything to do. Vijay’s every need is fulfilled by his mother. Vijay meets Shivani Chopra ( Madhuri Dixit ), an air hostess in his flight when he was on a business trip. Shivani take care of Vijay during the flight when he is accidentally hurt. Vijay misunderstands Shivani’s care as love for himself and becomes very happy. He tell his mother about his new love and wants to marry her. His mother agrees to get him married with Shivani.

Vijay takes his mother to the Shivani’s house for marriage proposal but gets a nasty shock when he learns that she is already married with Ashok ( Deepak Tijori ), an airline pilot and have a daughter Pinky. Vijay’s heart breaks and he is unable to accept this marriage and continue pursuing Shivani. His love goes to a limit of madness and eventually he murders her husband and frames Shivani for this murder. The case goes in court and Shivani is find guilty and sent to the jail. She is ill-treated by prison warden. Shivani decides to take revenge from Vijay who is responsible for her family destruction and make him account for his sins. Outside the jail Vijay punishes each member of the Shivani’s family.
