Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Sushmita Sen starrer “Aankhen” was directed by Vipul Shah and was released on April 5, 2002. The movie was produced by Gaurang Doshi under the banner of V R Pictures. Aankhen is a well directed and new concept. The movie shows how a blind person can manage to do things which we cannot imagine. The movie is about three people Vishwas Prajapati ( Akshay Kumar ), Arjun Verma ( Arjun Rampal ) and Iliyaas ( Paresh Rawal ) who lost their eye sight in miserable manner. A retired bank official Vijay Singh Rajput ( Amitabh Bachchan ), who was laid off because of his violent behavior. He decided to avenge the bank by planning a bank robbery with the three blind people and their trainer Neha ( Sushmita Sen ). He compels her to train them by kidnapping her brother. She tries to train them in a dummy model of the bank.

The trio getting training although not knowing each other earlier, but become good friends. Also Arjun fell in love with Neha and he wanted her to be safe out of the conspiracy. All goes according to plan and they get the money and jewelry. But not trusting Neha they change the plan and hide the money. Finally Vijay Singh comes up in front to threaten them and take back the money. But things go complicated and Neha and Iliyaas got killed. Finally police nabs all of them but due to their blindness and innocence Vishawas and Arjun easily get away. And the culprit was now Vijay Singh Rajput. The movie was nicely blended with suspense, comedy and thriller. All the actors were amazing and looked fantastic in their roles. Overall the movie was good.
