Songs of Aadmi Aur Insaan

Dharmendra, Saira Banu, Feroz Khan and Mumtaz starred movie ‘Aadmi Aur Insaan’ is a family drama which was directed by Yash Chopra. The movie was released in 1969 under the banner of B.R. Films. Other starcast included Johnny Walker, Randhawa, Uma Dutt, Ajit, Anwar Hussain, Iftekhar, Gajanan Jagirdar, Kamini Kaushal, Manmohan Krishna, Roopesh Kumar, Madan Puri etc in significant roles. The movie was produced by B.R.Chopra and Akhtar-Ul-Iman wrote the movie. The music of the movie was directed by famous Ravi whereas lyrics of the songs were written by Sahir Ludhianvi. Asha Bhonsle, Mohammad Rafi and Mahendra Kapoor sang the songs in the movie. Hit songs of the movie are listed below:

Movie starts with Jai Kishan (Feroz Khan) who is commonly known as JK who is a very wealthy and independent industrialist. One day he meets Munish Mehra (Dharmendra) who is a young man from a middle-class background and both become best friends. Jai also helps him to go abroad and get necessary qualifications as an engineer. When he comes back with the degree, Jai hires him on one of his construction projects. There Jai meets with Meena Khanna (Saira Banu) who is the daughter of a government official. He falls in love with her. Soon Jai finds out that Munish is also attached to her which he does not accept and gets annoyed with Munish. He subsequently fires Munish, and ensures that he will not get hired anywhere else.

Then Munish tries his very hard to get an employment but all goes in vain. After making several attempts Munish gets an employement and is hired by the government. He is assigned to investigate the collapse of a railway bridge which was made by his own friend’s company. During the investigation, Munish comes to know that the real culprit is none other than Jai Kishan and was directly responsible for this mishap. Jai has used sub-standard materials by which the bridge was made very weak. Now he has full opportunity to take revenge of his insult and he informs his employer accordingly but he declines at the time of making full report for which he is prosecuted in the court and for taking bribes and destroying his report.
