Milind Soman, Danny Denzongpa and Aditi Govitrikar starred bollywood movie ‘16 December’ is an action and mystery thriller movie which was directed by Mani Shankar. The movie was released on 22nd March, 2002 under the banner of iDream Productions. Other starcast included Gulshan Grover, Dipannita Sharma, Sushant Singh and Deepinka who played equally important roles in the movie. The movie was produced by Anjali Joshi and Arunima Roy whereas the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie were written by Mani Shankar. The music of the movie was directed by Karthik Raja and list of playback singers included Sadhana Sargam, Sapna Awasthi, Shaan, Subhiksha, K K and Chitra Sivaraman. It was 16th December, 1971 when India won the war against Pakistan. It also had got success from releasing Bangladesh from Pakistan’s rule. Seeing this the dictators of Pakistan surrendered unconditionally to India but there was a group of some hard-lined Pakistani soldiers who were bitter and angry at the surrender. They wanted to fight against India until their last breath. But that time was not right for any revolt and therefore they retreated in silent but later came up with their own groups of Jihaadi soldiers whose main aim was to carry out terrorists attacks against India. One of them was Dost Khan (Gulshan Grover) who is active in this. The Indian authorities are well aware of Dost Khan and his activities but are unable to get him as he kept changing disguises.

He always kept one step ahead of the authorities. Later this matter is assigned to a Chief of Revenue Intelligence named Vir Vijay singh (Danny Denzongpa) with his team which consist of Vikram (Milind Soman), Victor (Sushant Singh) and Sheeba (Dipanita Sharma). Soon they get involve in the case and find out that terrorists had been able to acquire a nuclear bomb at the time of the break-up of the Soviet Union. Now this nuclear bomb is present in New Delhi. The date 16th December is the deadline for the nuclear bomb to explode and nobody knows the exact location of that bomb.
