Sarhad Paar is another story which brings down the memories of tension between India and Pakistan. The movie tells the story of an army man who was kept as a war hostage in Pakistan and the trauma he faced after he is released. The movie had a good storyline but it seems a bit delayed, the concept of the movie is based on the indo pak tension and the movie should have been produced during that period. The story of the movie revolves around a army man Ranjit Singh ( Sanjay Dutt ) who is being released by Pakistan after being kept as a war hostage for a very long time. He met his wife Pammi ( Tabu ) and sister Simran ( Mahima Choudary ), both welcomed him back whole heartedly back into their lives. Ranjit Singh isn’t the old Ranjit they used to know.

He had returned in a pretty bad shape, his condition itself reveals the trauma and torture he has faced in the captivity. He in fact had lost his memory and the only thing he remembers is a fading face, which he sees every time he closes his eyes. He was kept in the Army hospital for his rehabilitation from those horrifying and traumatic incidents. Soon he recovers his lost memory and was able to identify every one close to him. Now the image he used to visualize looks clear in front of him. The face he used to see was none other but Bhaktavar ( Rahul Dev ), a chronic religious terrorist who is associated with corrupted Indian traitors. The rest of the story reveals how he finds the culprits and finished them off. The movie is double paced, some times it seems to be very gripping but at other instances it is a bit lengthy. The movie also is stuffed with unwanted songs.
