Mithun Chakraborty and Madhuri Dixit starrer action drama “Pyar Ka Devta” was released under the production of Lalit Kapoor on January 11, 1991 while the movie is directed by K Bapaiah. The supporting cast of the movie includes Asrani, Rajinikanth, Suresh Oberoi, Moushmi Chatterjee, Kader Khan, Roopa Ganguly and Nirupa Roy. The movie Pyar Ka Devta comes up with a story that is filled with bollywood masala. Directed by Bapaiah the movie tells the story of a young boy Vijay ( Mithun Chakraborty ), who is the only son of his widow mother, he has to support his three sister’s by his own. In his childhood his mother also passed away leaving behind the burden of his three sisters. He worked very hard to make his sisters happy. When they are all grown up Vijay married the eldest sister Sharda ( Roopali Ganguly ) to a police inspector Arun, Sujata ( Kishori Sharma ) to a lawyer and the youngest was blessed of all as she was married to her dream boy, her lover.

When all the sisters got settled, they decided to help find a perfect match as their brother’s life partner. But the very little they know is that Vijay is in love with a beautiful girl Radha ( Madhuri Dixit ) and both have decided to marry but not before all his sisters are married. Now this condition is fulfilled, so they are all set to marry but suddenly the movie takes a dramatic turn when Vijay is accused of raping Arun’s younger sister Mohini. Arun arrested Vijay and put him behind the bars. In front of the judge Vijay confessed that he is guilty of raping Mohini, all his sisters are stunned to hear this. How could an honest man like Vijay could do this or is there something fishy?
