Shatrughan Sinha and Samita Patil starrer bollywood movie “Mera Dost Mera Dushman” was released under the production of Johny Bakshi in the year of 1984 while the movie is directed by Raj Khosla. The genre of the movie falls into the category of action movies. The supporting cast of the movie that played significant roles in the story includes Geeta Behl, Mukri, Danny Denzongpa, Vikas Anand, Bhagwan, Dulari, Trilok Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Indrani Mukherjee, Parveen Paul and Johnny Walker. The movie Mera Dost Mera Dushman comes up with a typical story that revolved around the gang of hooligans and the family of the leader. The movie focuses on the life of Bahadur Singh ( Trilok Kapoor ), who is the leader of a group of dacoits, they always threatened the villagers and looted them. Bahadur is the father of two sons Shaitan ( Danny Denzongpa ) and Shakti ( Shatrughan Sinha ), both were also grown up under the influence of their father and hence they also became dacoit. One day during a loot in the village Shakti got injured badly and his men left him alone thinking he is dead.

He was helped by an old man Harkishen ( Mukri )and his daughter Lali ( Smita Patil ), they kept him in their home until he was fully recovered. But Shakti had fallen for Lali and wanted to marry her. On the contrary she didn’t want to have any relation with a goon and this made Shakti choose a normal life. He decided to live in the village and started helping people. When this news reached Bahadur he and Shaitan decided to take Shakti back but he refused to move into that life back again. Bahadur was devastated to hear this and hence he decided to kill him but inspite he himself was murdered. Now Shaitan is determined to uncover the murderer of his father and hence all the villagers are at ransom.
