Romantic bollywood movie “Kya Love Story Hai” was released under the banners of Adlabs Films Ltd and V R Entertainers. The movie starred Tusshar Kapoor and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles. The movie is directed by ace director Lovely Singh and was released on April 20,2007. Other cast of the movie who are seen in prominent roles includes Kareena Kapoor, Karan Hukku, Rahul Singh, Shyam Mashalkar and Sujata Kumar. The music of the movie is directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the melodious songs are sung by a pool of singers which includes Shaan, Alisha Chinoy, Sonu Nigam, Kunal Ganjawala, Joy, Jolly Mukherjee and Zubeen Garg.

Kya Love Story Hai is the debut movie of the newcomer Lovely Singh as a director. The movie borrows the plot of a love triangle from the movies decades ago. The story line of the movie seems to be the one heard a billion times before. The movie is not well director, the amateurish touch just glimpses out also the screenplay of the movie is erratic. The story of the movie starts with a carefree, lucky go happy guy Arjun ( Tusshar Kapoor ), who falls in love with Kaajal ( Ayesha Takia ) at the very first sight. The problem is that Arjun doesn’t know her. After chasing her for a while he manages the courage to talk to her. Arjun was a complete stranger for her but for him she was the love of her life.

After some time they became friends. Arjun came to know that she was very lonely as she lost her mother long ago and her father is too busy in his business. Even after knowing her for a long time, he was not courageous enough to tell her how much he loves her. Suddenly a twist comes in the story, when a successful businessman Ranveer ( Karan Hukku ) who came into her life. He made Kaajal feel that they are made for each other and he proposed her which she accepts. When Arjun returns back he was shattered to know that his would be lover was going with someone else. From here on the story of the movie is just like other love triangles that have been seen over the years. Overall the movie is just another mediocre effort from the makers of the movie.
