Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt starrer action drama “Sadak” was released under the production of Mukesh Bhatt on December 20, 1991 while the movie is directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The movie Sadak tells the story of a poor man Ravi ( Sanjay Dutt ), who has a very dark past. When he was a small kid, his sister fell into the trap of pimps and they forced her to become a prostitute. When she tried to leave that profession, the people involved in that business killed her, Ravi always had the regret that he couldn’t save his sister. Now Ravi drives a taxi to earn his livelihood. One day he came across a beautiful girl Pooja ( Pooja Bhatt ) and lost his heart for her. Soon he came to know that she was forced to work as a prostitute by the men of Maharani ( Sadashiv Amrapurkar ).

Maharani is the person who is behind this whole illegal prostitution business. He bought Pooja from her uncle and now wants to make her work for him. Ravi planned to get her away from this dark world, with the help of his friend Gotya ( Deepak Tijori ), he managed to get Pooja away from the custody of Maharani and both ran away from the city. When Maharani came to know about this, she got Gotya killed by her men. This news shocked Ravi and he decided to return back tpo the city to take his revenge with Maharani, and put a complete end to this business.
