R. Madhavan is a Hindi film actor who was born on 1 June 1970. He made his debut in the bollywood industry with a romantic film titled Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. He starred opposite Saif Ali Khan and Diya Mirza in it. The movie did exceptionally well at the box office and recieved good reviews from the audience. But unfortunately his career didn’t rised the way it should have been. He was next seen in musical film titled Dil Vil Pyaar Vyraa which starred a long starcast alongwith him including Jimmy Shergill, Namrata Shirodkar, Hrisshita Bhatt etc.

He then made a comeback as a lead hero in the comic caper Ramji Londonwale but he failed to win the hearts of audience. The movie did a very poor show at the box office. But he once again proved himself by playing a short cameo but important role in Aamir Khan starrer Rang De Basanti. He romanced gorgeous Soha Ali Khan in the film. He gave another superb performance in Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Guru.

He then appeared in a short role in the off stream movie, Delhi Heights. He recived several acclaims for his performance in the film. His last released flick was Mumbai Meri Jaan which did average business at the ticket window. Right now he is looking forward to his forthecoming movie with Shahrukh Khan titled My Name Is Khan.
