Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Seshadri starrer bollywood movie “Meri Jung” was released under the production of N N Sippy on October 11, 1985 while the movie is directed by Subhash Ghai. The movie Meri Jung comes up with a wonderful story that tells the story of a young man and his quest for justice and revenge. The story movie focuses on the family of Mr. Verma who is happily married to a beautiful wife in the form of Aarti ( Nutan ) and he has two kids son Arun Verma ( Anil Kapoor ) and daughter Komal ( Khushboo ). Tragedy struck the family when Mr Verma was falsely trapped in a murder case and then a crooked advocate Thakral ( Amrish Puri ) ensured that he is sentenced to death for a crime that he never did. This left Aarti in a great shock and she was admitted to a mental hospital.

Now Arun and Komal were left alone, Arun worked hard and studied very hard. Time passed by and he graduated as a lawyer and hence started living a good life with his sweat sister. The twist in the story comes when a murderer Vicky ( Javed Jaffery ), who killed his girlfriend traps Komal in his love. Vicky was infact the son of Thakral. When this news reached Arun he tried to warn his sister and soon he managed to bring his true face infront of her. Arun fought the case against him and successfully managed to get justice and Vicky was sentenced to death penalty. This shock made Thakral a mental patient and Arun managed to reunite his family back.
