Dev Anand and Tina Munim Ambani starrer bollywood movie “Man Pasand” was released under the banner of Film Unit in the year of 1980. The movie Man Pasand comes up as a comic movie that revolves around a social subject depeely related to the present day society. The movie focuses on the life of a young girl Kamli ( Tina Munim ), she comes from a very poor family background and lived with her mother and a young sister. She was the only earning member of the family, she used to sell datuns in the local train, but still this was not enough to even earn full day meal for the whole family. The twist in the movie comes when one day a young man Pratap ( Dev Anand ) heard her hawking, ‘Datun Le Lo’, he was very impressed by her voice.

He decided that this voice should be singing songs, and hence he approached her and asked her that he wants to teach her and during the period he will support her family. She was obliged to hear this and hence she very graciously accepted this proposal. Now Pratap started teaching her and also training her. But soon Kamli started feeling towards Pratap and also felt that Pratap is also in love with her as she was not aware of his plans and hence she was continuously falling in love with him. What happens when she learns about his plans? Will she continue to love him?
