Sanjay Dutt and Imraan Khan starrer bollywood action thriller movie “Luck” was released under the banners of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd and Studio 18 on July 24, 2009. The movie is produced by Dhillin Mehta while the movie is directed by Soham Shah. Other cast of the movie includes Danny Denzongpa, Mithun Chakraborty, Ravi Kishan, Neha Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Shruti K. Hassan and Chitrashi Rawat. The melodious music of the movie is composed and directed by Salim and Sulaiman Merchant while the songs are sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Satya Hinduja, Shruti K. Haasan, Shruti Pathak and Naresh Kamat.

The movie Luck comes up as a star studded movie that is an action thriller, the movie had a perfect blend of talent from the experience of Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborty to the exuberance of youth in the form of new wonder kid Imraan Khan and debutant star kid debutante Shruti Hassan. The movie revolves around the betting industry and what better than luck is needed in the world of betting industry. The movie focuses on the life of an underworld don Musa ( Sanjay Dutt ), he is the king of betting industry and he is completely obsessed with betting and gambling.

To become successful he needs luck in his side and that comes in the form of Ram Mehra ( Imraan Khan ) and other accomplices. They all headed towards accomplishing their dreams and for that they gambled their lives. They are accompanied by their respective lady lucks. The movie is touted as the one of the better action choreographed movies, with astonishing stunts and wonderful locations of Nairobi. The movie saw wonderful performances from Sanjay Dutt and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty. Other actors have also performed equally well but somehow the movie lacks substance and hence falters at the box office in the very first week.
