Saif Ali Khan and Priety Zinta starrer family drama “Kya Kehna” was released under the banner of Tips Music Films on May 19, 2000. The movie is directed by Kundan Shah. The movie Kya Kehna talks about one the most avoid social topic of pre martial sex and the live-in relationship. The story of the movie revolves around a young girl Priya Bakshi ( Preity Zinta ). She is the daughter of the Bakshi family headed by Gulshan Bakshi ( Anupam Kher ) and Rohini Bakshi ( Farida Jalal ). Priya’s childhood friend Ajay ( Chandrachur Singh ) loves her from the days they were very young but he never expressed his feelings. After the completion of school she joined the college where she met Rahul ( Saif Ali Khan ).

He is a very charming personality, every girl dreams of being with him, he fell for Priya. Initially reluctant slowly Priya also fell in love with each other. They got that close to each other that they shared the most intimate moments. Soon Priya got the unfortunate news that she is pregnant. Her life was shattered when Rahul refused to marry her and even her family tried to convince her to abort the baby but she was determined to bring that child to earth. She moved away from the criticism of the society and he family. All the time Ajay was there for her help. When Rahul realized his mistake he came back to Priya to marry her but it was too late, as she now loves Ajay.
