Anil Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Poonam Dhillon and Jackie Shroff starrer bollywood movie “Karma” was released under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd on august 8, 1986. The movie was produced by Ashok Ghai while directed by Subhash Ghai. The movie comes under the genre of adventure, action and comedy. The movie Karma comes up with an interesting story that is filled with action and suspense. The movie tells the story of the tussle between a police officer and criminal from the underworld. The story of the movie revolves around the life of a police officer Vishwanath Pratap Singh aka Rana ( Dilip Kumar ), he has his own way of punishing the criminals. He treated them with love and this helped him completely remove the criminal thoughts from their minds. One day a dangerous underworld dons Dr. Dang came into his jail, and after he had a tussle with the guards, Rana slapped him on the face.

This made Dr. Dang very anger and he decided to return the favors to Rana, Dang managed to escape from his jail and then destroyed rana’s whole family including his two sons and their wives. The only survivor was his wife Rukmani ( Nutan ), who also lost her voice due to the trauma. Rana is filled with rage and he decided to devastate Dr. Dang and his whole gang. Rana left the police and raised a team consisting of three criminals from his own jail Khairuddin Kishti ( Naseeruddin Shah ), Baiju Thakur ( Jackie Shroff ) and Gyaneshwar aka Johnny ( Anil Kapoor ) to destroy Dang.
