Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer bollywood action and drama movie “Kaminey” will be released under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures on August 14, 2009. The movie is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj while it is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Other cast of the movie includes Amol Gupte, Deb Mukherjee, Rajatabha Dutta, Harish Khanna, Carlos Paca, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tenzing Nima, Shiv Subrahmanyam and Hrishikesh Joshi. The melodious music of the movie is composed and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj while the songs are sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Vishal Dadlani, Robert Bob Omulo, Mohit Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Rekha Bhardwaj, Suresh Wadkar, Earl, Kailash Kher and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Much awaited movie Kaminey is finally going to release on the eve of the Independence Day. The movie is a drama story that is equally studded with action sequences in proper dose. The movie tells the story of two identical twins who are born and brought up in the slumps of the Mumbai. They are called Guddu and Charlie ( Both played by Shahid Kapoor ). They always dreamed of leaving this life of poverty and become rich and noticeable personalities. Both Guddu and Charlie are completely identical in appearance the only difference is that one stammers while the other lisps.

As they grow up their lives started becoming different from each other, while Charlie became a gambler and he was involved in the betting at the racecourses Guddu on the other hand became a social worker. Their ways parted apart but soon some incidents brought them on to the same track. Charlie in order to become rich quickly found himself trapped in the web of the crooked politicians and gangsters. When Guddu found about this he started feeling that he should be on Charlie’s side and bail him out of this trouble as only he is his close friend and family. In the midst of all this Guddu found his love in the form of Sweety ( Priyanka Chopra ).
