Manoj Bajpai and Harishita Bhatt starrer “Jugaad” was released under the banner of Promodome Films on February 13, 2009. The movie is directed by R Anand Kumar while the producers were Sandiip Kapoor and Priya Kapoor. Other cast of the movie includes Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Akshat Kumar, Govind Namdeo, Nitin Arora, Mushtaq Khan, Abhay Puniani and Ashney. The music of the movie is composed and directed by Sachin Gupta and Krishna while the songs are sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Richa Sharma, Mika Singh, Krishna, Adeel, Aditya Jassi and Sachin Gupta.

The movie Jugaad is all about what the name states, Jugaad as it means some temporary fix to solve a problem. The movie revolves around the realistic events that happened when the so called demolition drive was going on in the state of New Delhi, the MCD was backed by the supreme court orders to seal all the illegal property that people had captured in Delhi. The movie tells the story of an Ad agency and it’s CEO who makes all attempts or you can call it all sorts of Jugaads to save his ass from being kicked by the sealing drive.

Every businessman in Delhi is affected by this demolition and sealing drive, from small shopkeepers to the property dealers, to the brokers or even the small show room owners. This left people in a great confusion and they are left only to see their business being shut down. But some of them like Sandeep Kapur ( Manoj Bajpai ) tried to come up with some jugaad to get out of the problem and reinstall their stake on their business. The actors Manoj Bajpai and Vijay Raaz have wonderfully performed. The director has tried to present the best but he script has nothing in it to woo the crowd to the movie theaters.
