Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu starrer romantic and action packed “Gunaah” was released on September 20, 2002. The movie was produced by none other then Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie was directed by Amol Shetge. The other casts of the movie in significant roles includes Ashutosh Rana, Irrfan Khan, Avtar Gill, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Yashpal Sharma, and Jayant Wadkar. The melodious music for the movie is composed and directed by Sajid and Wajid. The songs are sung in the beautiful voices of Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Babul Supriyo, Kumar Sanu, Roop Kumar Rathod, Abhijeet, and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Gunaah is a story which tells the nature of love which doesn’t see the social bounding. It can surround you even when you don’t want it. Even when the person is one of the most hated. Even when you are hell for the person. The movie is about lady police officer Prabha ( Bipasha Basu ). She is an honest woman and though out her life she had always hated criminals. She is lonely and thinks that she can clean the corrupt system all by herself if no one is there to help her. But her life took a startling change when she meets a criminal Aditya ( Dino Morea ). Prabha was about to fall off a rooftop while chasing Aditya and to her surprise Aditya saves her.

Even knowing that he will get arrested he saves her. This was a big blow and Prabha was now in love with him, even though he couldn’t explain his actions in the court. She decided to meet her and know what has happened to him. Soon talking to him Prabha came to know that he is not a bad guy from within. It was the circumstances which led him to become a criminal. Prabha tries to figure out the reasons which led Aditya to take wrong turns in his life and soon both were in love. The movie was lacking in story and direction. Acting status was very low. None of the lead actors played his part perfectly. Finally movie was a super flop.
