Ajay Devgan and Ritesh Deshmukh starrer bollywood thriller “Cash” was released on August 2, 2007. The movie is directed by Anubhav Sinha under the banners of Seven Entertainment and Adlabs Films Ltd. Other star cast of the movie includes Zayed Khan, Shamita Shetty, Sunil Shetty, Esha Deol, Dia Mirza and Ayesha Takia in significant roles. The music of the movie is directed by the duo of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani. Another thriller on the block Cash, directed by Anubhav Sinha the movie promises a lot at the beginning but the charm of the movie diminishes as the story progresses. The movie is blessed with a great bunch of actors and a director of the class of Anubhav sinha still fails to impress. The culprit is its story line and the screenplay of the movie. The story lacks individuality and seems to be inspired many other movies like dhoom 2 »”>Dhoom 2. The revolves around star actor ( Ajay Devgan ) who sets up a plan to steal one of the precious collection of diamonds in Durban, South Africa.

Hence he hires the top thieves ( Zayed Khan, Dia Mirza Ritesh Deshmukh and Esha deol ) to do the job. But the team faces the biggest challenge from a underworld don ( Sunil Shetty ) who himself is after these precious diamonds. The head of the security ( Shamita Shetty ) also have plans of fleeing away with these diamonds. The movie shows the tussle between these three groups and becomes a race against each other. The impressing thing about the movie is its style. Ajay Devgan and other actors around him have performed well up to the mark but the movie lacks a good storyline. Overall Cash is a fair job done by the makers of the movie and it stands with other average movies.
