Suny Deol and Pooja Bhatt starrer action movie “Angrakshak” was released under the production of Vivek Kumar on November 17, 1995 while the movie is directed by Ravi Raja. The supporting cast in the movie that played significant roles includes Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Saeed Jaffrey, Mohnish Behl, Anees Bazmee, Rami Reddy and Amita Nangia. The melodious music of the movie is composed and directed by ace music director Anand-Milind while the beautiful songs are sung by Alka Yagnik, Kumar Shanu, Udit Narayan and Poornima.

Suspense filled action thriller Angrakshak comes up with a story that is narrated very elegantly by the director. The movie tells the story of a politician and the web he develops to win elections. The story of the movie starts when a popular politician Satyendra Pal Choudhary ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ), who is at the peak of his political career. He has a beautiful and loving daughter Priyanka ( Pooja Bhatt ), this youthful girl is always under the threat because of the popularity of her father. in order to protect his daughter, Satyendra hired a very competent bodyguard in the form of Ajay ( Sunny Deol ).

Ajay is always with her as a shadow and is in the way of any hand trying to harm her. But suddenly one day Pooja was kidnapped by the political rivals of Satyendra Pal Choudhary, in the process to save Pooja, Ajay sustained some bad injuries. All the attempts to save her came to an end when shocking news revealed that Pooja is killed. The wave of sympathy towards Satyendra Pal Choudhary, helped him win the elections. Later it is found that Ajay was a criminal as he had killed the husband of his sister as he was not of his choice. Now everyone is suspecting why a criminal was hired to guard Pooja, is something fishy here?
