Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer romantic film Dil is directed by Indra Kumar. The other starcast of the film inlcudes the names of Anupam Kher and Saeed Jaffrey. The movie was released the year 1990. The music of the film has been composed by the duo Anand-Milind. Raja ( Aamir Khan ) is a son of a miser father, Hazriprasad ( Anupam Kher ), who is a ‘kabadi’ by profession. Raja is exactly opposite of his father. Hazari Prasad makes a plan to get back all the money spent by his son. He wants his son to get married to a rich man’s daughter. He starts search for a rich father and meets Mr. Mehra ( Saeed Jaffrey ), who exactly fitted the bill. Mr. Mehra is a millionaire with just one daughter, Madhu Mehra ( Madhuri Dixit ). Hazari Prasad pretends to be a millionaire businessman in front of Mr. Mehra and get succeed in convincing him.

Mr. Mehra and Hazari Prasad becomes very close friend in no time and they both decides to get their children married. Howver, Madhu and Raja, who are studying in the same college, just hates each other. But with the passage of time, hate changes to love. Their parents fixes up a date for their engagement. But somehow, Mr. Mehra gets to know the truth about Hazriprasad’s low status. He publicly insults him. But now the main problem is for the love birds, Raja and Madhu.
