The story of the movie Ghar Ho To Aisa comes up with a story that has been narrated over and over again in the bollywood industry. The movie revolves around the drama and tensions in a joint family, the Kumar Family. The family is headed by Ramprasad ( Saeed Jaffrey ), his wife Durga ( Bindu ) they have two sons and two daughters. The elder son Vijay ( Raj Kiran is married to Sharda ( Deepti Naval ) and they have a young daughter Pinky. The younger son Amar ( Anil Kapoor ), is unemployed and is also a bachelor while the eldest of the two daughters Kanchan ( Rita Bhaduri ) is married and lives with the family along with her husband Bajrangi ( Kader Khan ).
