The movie Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin comes up with a romantic love story that is very well narrated by the director Mukesh Bhatt. The story of the movie revolves around a beautiful girl Pooja ( Pooja Bhatt ), who is the daughter of a wealthy person Seth Dharamchand ( Anupam Kher ). Pooj madly adores popular celebrity actor Deepak Kumar ( Sameer Chitre ) and her madness is so deep that she wants to marry him but her father didn’t like this craziness. Pooja ran away from her house so that she can meet Deepak who is in Banglore. On her way she came across a handsome reporter Raghu Jaitley ( Aamir Khan ),who is in search of a new masala story about the bollywood world.

When Pooja told her part of the story to Raghu, he agreed to accompany her only when she allows him to publish her weird story involving Deepak in his paper. They went on their journey together as they stayed more and more together Raghu started liking Pooja but didn’t expressed his feelings because he is not as rich as Pooja. Soon Pooja also started liking him but she either can’t tell him as she is confused between love and infatuation for Deepak. Finally she met Deepak and both decided to marry but just on the marriage day everything turned around when Pooja proposed Raghu.
